Sisters Anaïs de Viel Castel and Clémence de Laubier have always been very close. Growing up in Paris, the two spent many of their summers in Provence, and after having their first children within weeks of each other, they have continued that tradition on with their own families. It is in this beautiful region of France that they were inspired to combine their talents and love of fashion to create Petite Lucette, a children’s clothing company focused on delivering the charm, simplicity and effortless style of Parisian-chic fashion through pieces that are simple, well-made and affordable.
Each collection is defined by whimsical, yet simple, elements and playful signature details like reversible skirts and pants, delicate prints, and pieces that can easily be mixed and matched. Designed by mothers to charm other mothers and their children alike, each piece is made with easy to care for fabric and created with particular attention given to quality, cut and comfort.
Anaïs de Viel Castel brings her experience in the fashion industry and strong sense of style to Petite Lucette. Having worked for Hermès until she moved to the U.S. in 2005, she styled fashion photo shoots for various American magazines.
Clémence de Laubier studied at Esag Penninghen, the most prestigious graphic design school in Paris, and has been the directrice artisitique on projects for clients such as Chopard, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Relais & Châteaux.
